0–100One score per market, with a word
Settings are tuned on the first two thirds of each window and judged on the last third. The score is what the best system made per trade on that unseen third, scaled by how many of the ten assets agreed, with a penalty for too few trades or a drawdown deeper than the gains. Strong is 75 and up, Promising 60, Weak 45, below that No edge.
THE LIMITSREAD BEFORE YOU TRADE
- 01Backtests, not trades. Free data feeds, fixed costs, no slippage. A high score is a reason to look closer, not a promise.
- 02Short windows on purpose. Three, six and twelve months. A setting that paid for years can stop in a month; we would rather you saw that. Why ↗
- 03Gaps are filled, and said so. Where a free feed has holes, another fills them and the result says which weeks.
- 04Open code only, and no repainting. The builder uses published formulas and open-source scripts, shows the licence, leaves closed or non-commercial scripts out, and rejects any indicator whose signals change once later bars arrive.
Nothing here is financial advice. Paper-trade or forward-test any system before risking money.
