A MEAN-REVERSION STRATEGY · 26 FOREX PAIRS

The 1-hour
London
reversal.

AtomicTrades watches 26 forex pairs on the 1-hour chart for one pattern: price stretches beyond its band, then snaps back across the Kijun during the London morning. That snap is the entry, and it arrives with the stop and target already worked out.

00 / NO REPAINT

We never erase
a losing signal.

Some indicators repaint: when a signal fails, its marker quietly disappears from the chart. Scroll back and you only see the winners.

  1. 1 · Signal appearsA buy marker prints under the candle.
  2. 2 · Trade losesPrice keeps falling and hits the stop.
  3. 3 · Marker erasedThe chart redraws without it. The loss is gone.

We measured this on a popular 4-hour signal dashboard. Going by its chart, 72% of signals reached their target. Counting the signals that vanished, it was 50%, and it lost money after spreads.

AtomicTrades locks every signal when the 1-hour candle closes. Each pair's record below shows every trade, losses included.

01 / POTENTIAL ENTRIES

What the scanner
sees right now.

06 / METHOD

Four rules.
In order.

Nothing repaints: every decision uses closed 1-hour candles only, the same rules as the TradingView indicator and the MT4 expert advisor.

01 / STRETCH
SETUP

Price leaves the band.

A candle closes beyond the inner band, the 34-period EMA ± 2.5 ATR. The scanner starts tracking the extreme.

02 / SNAP
SIGNAL

It closes back across the Kijun.

The first candle that closes back across the Kijun-sen (26), within 15 candles of the extreme.

03 / WINDOW
FILTER

Only the London morning.

Signal candles must open 08:00–12:00 London time. No new trades on US jobs-report Fridays.

04 / PLAN
RISK

Stop, target, one at a time.

Stop 0.1 ATR beyond the extreme, target the opposite band. One trade at a time, 1–2% risk.

07 / WHITEPAPER

How we
got here.

Twelve ideas tested, nine thrown away. The backtest that read the future, the indicators that repaint, and why one block of hours on the 1-hour chart survived every check.
